  • In celebration of #NationalArchitectureWeek, JAI project manager @colleenriordan72 hosted a job site visit in support of an @aiaetn initiative to provide K-12 programming meant to inspire the next generation of architects and designers. The students from Grace Christian Academy, who are interested in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Trades, had the opportunity to tour two projects that are under construction by @johnsonandgalyonconstruction, designed by @jainc1994. Led by Jeff Bryant, the students asked insightful questions and were able to see real life examples of how the fields of architecture, design, engineering, and construction science come together to create successful projects. #AIA #NationalArchitectureWeek #ArchitectureAndDesign #STEMForKids #STEAMForKids
  • After nearly five years of combined design and construction, we're so proud to finally share this stunning lakefront home on Arcadia Peninsula. A true team effort, our terrific JAl team included Daryl Johnson, Brian Pittman, Emily Haire, and many others! June Chamberlain Interiors brought this creation to life with a masterful application of finishes and furnishings along with special built-in accents like a white oak circular entry rotunda and custom library shelving by Clancy Custom Woodworking. Landscape design was by Rachel Beasley, and Arcadia Fine Builders crafted a custom home with unparalleled quality. And last but certainly not least, thank vou to an exceptional homeowner who allowed us to dream with them, test theories and express design ideas that may have at times 'pushed the envelope' @arcadiaknox @june.chamberlain.interiors @beasleylandscapearchitects #architecture #interiordesign #architecturephotography

  • Last week, the Lodge at Clayton Retreat won the AIA East Tennessee's People's Choice Award. The training and retreat venue is located on a 10-acre site within the boundaries of @Clayton’s 174-acre headquarters campus. The Lodge overlooks Mount LeConte and features multiple training rooms and a large dining room that expands onto a deep wraparound porch. The design also includes an outdoor pavilion with bar and restroom facilities, and a large beer garden and grilling pavilion nestled in a lighted tree grove.
