What is your role at JAI?

Project manager for projects of all shapes and sizes.

 

What three words best describe you?

Steady, fair and easygoing.

 

What is your favorite aspect of being on the JAI team?

I like that our firm has strong relationships with our clients.

 

What three words best describe the culture at JAI?

Hardworking, professional and collegial.

 

What has been your proudest moment to date working at JAI?

I really enjoy walking in the Light The Night event every year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with the whole JAI team and our families. Please support LLS!

 

How has working at JAI enhanced your professional development?

Our team pushes to use the latest technology in the office and in our building projects, which has been a valuable experience professionally.

 

What or who is your go-to source for work inspiration?

I like to travel and think traveling is a great way to see new and old architecture and experience new cultures.

 

If you could switch places for a day with any JAI team member, which one would you choose?

Joey Staats on Volleyball Tuesday!

 

Before joining JAI, what was the most unusual job you held?

I worked for a paving company every summer in college and couldn’t wait to get back to school in August!

 

What do you look most forward to at the end of a workday?

I enjoy cooking for my family every night. It’s how I wind down.

 

If you were stranded alone on an island, what three material possessions would you hope to have with you?

A radio that got NPR, a good skillet and a fishing pole!

 

What is your secret talent?

Making brunch.

 

What is your favorite place in the world?

Anna Maria Island, Florida – but don’t tell anyone!
