Johnson Architecture has hired John Koelsch as a project manager with a focus on the firm’s healthcare projects.
“John’s experience with the intricacies of healthcare facility design will prove beneficial to our team as well as existing and new healthcare clients,” said Daryl Johnson, founder and president of Johnson Architecture. “His skill in listening to client needs, then navigating through the process with an eye on exceeding client expectations aligns with our design philosophy.”
Koelsch earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in business administration from the University of Tennessee. He is a registered architect in both Tennessee and South Carolina and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
He serves the industry as a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) East Tennessee’s board of directors and AIA East Tennessee Emerging Professionals/Young Architects (EPYA) board liaison.
He previously served in project architect roles, building a portfolio of recreation, civic/state, corporate/commercial, and healthcare projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders from design through construction administration.
He and his wife, Abby, enjoy free time serving at their church, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors hiking and on the lake.
