  • One week until Christmas and we’re still cooking up good design 🍽️✨

A materials concept in progress for an upcoming restaurant — where texture, tone, and durability all matter just as much as atmosphere. Proof that thoughtful design doesn’t slow down for the holidays. More to come soon.

  • A big congratulations to @rvhcare in Lenoir City and construction partner, @josephconstruction1972 , on their Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Tennessee Excellence in Construction Award, recognizing the high level of craftsmanship, coordination, and construction excellence achieved on this complex project. • When the temperature drops, this is the place to be.
A swinging bed, a wood-burning hearth, and a design that echoes the original 1929 home. This pool house blends comfort with craftsmanship, all overlooking the main channel of the Tennessee River.

  • When appearance and atmosphere matter, every detail counts.

JAI recently teamed with @stellarmedicalaesthetics to create a 2,000 SF space that blends custom craftsmanship with a soothing, modern aesthetic, designed to reflect their brand from the moment you walk in.

  • River Valley Health’s new medical office building, designed in partnership with JAI, reflects a powerful commitment to whole-person care.

The state-of-the-art facility brings primary care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and urgent care together under one sustainably built roof. Inspired by its East Tennessee surroundings, the design features timber-wrapped structural elements, exposed tongue-and-groove ceilings, and a composite wood rainscreen crafted from recycled materials.

Inside, soaring volumes, floor-to-ceiling glass, clerestory daylight, and geothermal systems work together to create a calming, energy-efficient environment that supports healing and connection to nature.

LED lighting, Low-E glazing, and thoughtful material selections further enhance comfort, performance, and long-term sustainability.

“River Valley Health is providing holistic, comprehensive care to the community. We have a covenant with this community to provide access to care. This building is what the community deserves.” — Parinda Khatri, CEO

Please join us in congratulating Kelly on this exciting new chapter!
  • Tucked within the tranquil woods of Maryville, The Carriage House spa at @rtlodge offers a peaceful retreat for rest and renewal. Once a humble outbuilding, the structure has been thoughtfully reimagined by Johnson Architecture and @norris.studio into a restorative destination that honors its history while embracing the natural beauty of its setting.

Please join us in congratulating Heather on this incredible milestone!
  • Grateful to @keepknoxvillebeautiful for recognizing our headquarters with a 2025 Orchids Award for adaptive reuse! 🌿

Restoring this South Knoxville building was a chance to preserve a piece of our city’s industrial history — and create a space that inspires our team every day.
