  • Designing an unforgettable dining experience. 🍽✨

JAI is proud to have collaborated with James Beard Award-winning Chef Joseph Lenn as @jcholdway has evolved into one of Knoxville’s premier dining destinations. Since opening in 2016, the restaurant has undergone several interior upgrades to enhance the patron experience. Beautiful food in a beautifully designed space—sounds like the perfect pairing! #JohnsonArchitecture #JCHoldway #KnoxvilleDining #DesignMeetsFlavor #FineDining

  • 🚧Breaking Ground in Maryville!🚧

This week, our very own JAI Project Manager and Designer, Emily Haire, joined city leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Maryville Operations Center!

This 22,000-square-foot facility will provide office space, a secure data center, conference and training areas, and a home base for 175 dedicated employees who work hard to keep Maryville clean, safe, and beautiful.

A big thank you to Mayor Andy White and the entire team making this vision a reality! We’re excited to see this project take shape. Stay tuned for updates! #BuildingMaryville #Groundbreaking #CityProgress #JAI

  • “At the end of my career, as I look back and reflect, I want to know that I was an integral part of the creation of built environments that withstood the test of time.”

We’re proud to call VP and Principal Architect Joey Staats a colleague. Congrats on being named to the Knoxville News Sentinel 40 Under 40 Class of 2024.
  • Happy Holidays from Johnson Architecture! This past Friday we celebrated another productive year together at the Tennessean, and we couldn’t have had more fun with our work family. And of course it wouldn’t be a JAI Christmas Party without a “Dirty Dancing Lift”… thankfully with no injuries sustained.

  • The Morningside Room at @rtlodge is in excellent company in @gardenandgun magazine’s list of seven Southern hotel bars worth a stay. We’re proud of our work alongside interior designer Stephanie Sabbe and the project management team at MDS Land Project to create a warm, inviting space that complements the lodge and its natural surroundings.
