JAI worked with James Beard Award-winning Chef Joseph Lenn to achieve his vision for a relaxed fine dining restaurant in downtown Knoxville’s historic Daylight Building. Featuring a dramatic open kitchen with a wood-fired grill and oven, the restaurant’s long, narrow space was transformed into a series of warm, intimate environments using varied ceiling heights and color, creating beautiful views both from and into the space.

I’ve spent a lot of money constructing my restaurant and can honestly say the money I’ve paid Johnson Architecture is by far the best money I’ve spent. From finding ways to reduce costs and coming up with creative options for materials and ways to enhance the look and flow of the restaurant, it has been a very collaborative process to the betterment of the restaurant. I am very pleased with the outcome.
