The Maryville Operations Center was designed to strengthen the City's ability to deliver essential public services by creating a centralized workplace for the Electric, Water & Sewer, and Public Works departments. Planned as a long-term investment in municipal infrastructure, the new facility expands the City's operational capacity while improving communication, efficiency, and coordination among departments responsible for serving the community every day. The building provides modern office space, training and meeting areas, and support spaces tailored to the diverse needs of field and administrative staff. Careful programming and planning create clear relationships between workspaces, equipment, and operational functions, allowing employees to collaborate more effectively while accommodating future growth. Located adjacent to the existing operations campus, the facility complements the City's long-term master plan and reinforces the Operations Center as the hub for maintaining Maryville's critical infrastructure and public services. As Maryville Assistant City Manager Greg Stoltenberg observed, the new facility "will seriously help our employees do the critical tasks we ask of them," reflecting the project's central goal of creating a workplace that better supports the people responsible for serving the community every day.
