JAI project manager and project designer Jimmy Ryan has joined the board of directors for Knox Heritage, a non-profit organization committed to protecting Knoxville’s unique character for future generations by preserving, restoring and transforming historically significant structures and places.
Jimmy joined the firm in 2015 and has held a central role in the design of various projects, including master planning, commercial, hospitality and custom residential.
He started volunteering with the Knox Heritage in 2022 on its Vintage Properties Committee, which specifically works to restore blighted properties to assist with neighborhood stabilization and revitalization. He is dedicated to preserving the areas that make Knoxville a thriving place to live, work and visit.
Jimmy’s two-year term started in January 2023. Responsibilities include stewardship, guidance and assessing project feasibility for current and future properties.
