Cornerstone of Recovery

Cornerstone of Recovery provides long- and short-term residential treatment services to people suffering from chemical dependency and addiction. After establishing the need for additional space, the treatment facility enlisted Johnson Architecture to design two new buildings:

Hood Hall is a four-story, 200-bed facility offering residents a comfortable, hospitality-inspired atmosphere. Each story includes a community space where residents can watch TV, prepare meals and congregate.

The Caldwell Center is a two-story treatment facility where patients meet with counselors, participate in group support meetings and dine in the restaurant-styled eatery, complete with outdoor dining space. The center includes separate women’s and men’s community rooms, where residents can relax between sessions, work on assignments and interact. A lecture hall provides space for monthly sessions with residents’ family members. Administrative and staff offices are housed on the second floor.
