JAI’s Jeremiah Corbett named Blount County Young Professionals board chair

Jeremiah Corbett, project manager for Johnson Architecture, has been elevated to board chair of Blount County Young Professionals, an initiative of Blount Partnership.

“Jeremiah is a catalyst who fosters collaboration, builds culture, and serves his community,” said Daryl Johnson, founder and president of Johnson Architecture. “He is passionate about helping other young professionals navigate early career challenges and seek professional development. Our team congratulates him on this milestone, and we know he will serve Blount County Young Professionals well.”

The chair is the primary liaison between Blount County Young Professionals and the Blount County Chamber of Commerce, presiding over meetings, collaborating with other leaders, and preparing reports. Corbett previously served on the organization’s steering committee and as engagement chair.

“I enjoy coordination and collaboration, and it is a great honor to get to share my time and talents in areas that are important to me, such as mentoring, community improvement, and the support of students and young professionals,” Corbett said. “Blount County Young Professionals is a great organization, serving members and the community. Corbett joined Johnson Architecture as an intern architect in 2018 and became project manager in 2021. He is a board member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) East Tennessee and East Tennessee Community Design Center and chair of its Design Works committee. He is a student mentor through IA Collaborative and a member of Young Professionals of Knoxville and a graduate of its Leadership Certificate Program. He serves as a Knoxville Chamber Delegate and is a graduate of Introduction Knoxville’s class of 2024.
