Linda Mollica joined JAI in 2003.
What is your role at JAI?
I’m officially the receptionist, but my team says I’m the quarterback – I handle the ball on almost every play! I know I may be the first voice you hear or the first face you see at JAI.
What three words best describe you?
Accommodating, patient, compassionate.
What is your favorite aspect of being on the JAI team?
The JAI team is truly a family, and we like to have fun together while getting the job done.
What three words best describe the culture at JAI?
Colorful, talented, fun.
What is your proudest moment to date working at JAI?
We have a client-oriented culture, so when a client stops to compliment or thank me for providing excellent customer service, it makes my day.
How has working at JAI enhanced your professional development?
I’ve been here since 2003, so in almost 16 years, I’ve learned a lot more about what makes people tick, which helps me be the best representative of JAI that I can be.
If you could switch places for a day with a JAI team member, which one would you choose?
No one – I have the BEST job!
Before joining JAI, what was the most unusual/enjoyable/challenging job you held?
I grew up in Connecticut on an apple orchard. When I was a kid, I worked with my family to pick apples. It was both unusual and challenging, but enjoyable because it was with my family.
What do you look forward to the most at the end of the workday?
Going home to my fur babies, Taffy, my Toy Poodle; Rusty, my Pomeranian; and Marley, my Pekingese. I also enjoy puttering around the house and I love to cook a great meal.
If you were stranded alone on an island, what three material possessions would you hope to have with you?
My TV (sad, but true); my cellphone – I do talk for a living after all; and a floatie, because I love soaking up the sun while floating in the water.
What is your secret talent?
If I have one, it’s a secret even to me!
What is your favorite place in the world?
Any beach with white sand.
What are you currently watching?
CNN. I’ve become quite the news junkie.
