Johnson Architecture recently hired Shannon Elliott as a project architect.
“The team atmosphere at Johnson Architecture is the perfect match for my approach to design and architecture,” Elliott said. “We draw creative ideas from each other to serve each client.”
Elliott has project management experience in industrial, commercial, health care and multifamily housing projects and has comprehensive knowledge of building information modeling (BIM). At Johnson Architecture, Elliott currently is working on projects for the University of Tennessee, Lakeway Christian Schools in White Pine and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.
“Shannon is a tremendous asset to our team, especially her ability to work seamlessly with our clients because of her familiarity with the region,” said Daryl Johnson, founder and president of Johnson Architecture. “We appreciate her commitment to architecture and this community, and we welcome her to the firm.”
Elliott is affiliated with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Project Management Institute (PMI), U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and East Tennessee Community Design Center.
Prior to joining Johnson Architecture, Elliott was a project manager at Michael Brady Inc. in Knoxville.
Elliott earned a Bachelor of Arts in urban studies in 2006 and Master of Architecture in 2010 from the University of Tennessee. She resides in East Knoxville and enjoys gardening in her free time.
