Mellow Mushroom Cumberland Avenue

Client: Mellow Mushroom
Year: 2002

The Mellow Mushroom, a national restaurant development, boasts a hippie-inspired, fantasy menu and corporate identity, and wanted their restaurant interiors to reflect the same. Johnson Architecture worked with the owners to develop a new freestanding building prototype and playful interior located near The University of Tennessee. Finish materials are moderately priced and exceptionally durable so that they can stand up to the high volume of college students that frequent the restaurant.
