Coulter Grove Intermediate

Client: Maryville Public Building Authority
Year: 2012

The Maryville Public Building Authority retained Johnson Architecture to master plan a 34-acre parcel of land in east Maryville for a new intermediate school. In Phase 1, the master plan accommodates an intermediate school for 900 students with the capability for expansion up to 1,100 students. Construction of the project was made possible in part by a Qualified School Construction Bond (QSCB) by the American Recovery Act. Phase 2 of the master plan will include the addition of a new middle school to the property. The two buildings will be state-of-the-art facilities, sharing the use of one kitchen and an auditorium, maximizing use of the facilities.
